Travelling to Turkey is getting easy nowadays, as the older visa with the Sticker on passport has been replaced by the Electronic Turkey E-Visa which can be applied online.
Turkey E-visa is a multiple entry visa for which only few countries can apply. To check your eligibility for the online E-Visa for Turkey you may visit http://www.evisa-turkey-tr.org . Payment for the online applications can be made by using master or visa credit/debit card. The evisa-turkey-tr.org company can only apply the visa on your behalf to the Government, entry in the Turkey territory is subject to immigration approval only. If you have received an e-mail message informing you that your E-visa application has been denied, you can visit the nearest Turkish Embassy or Consulate for visa application.
Validity of E Visa Turkey:
Once the E-visa is issued on your passport, it will be valid for 180 days, which allows the traveler to stay in Turkey for maximum period of 90 days. However, the duration of the stay allowed differs between countries, as for some countries the duration of the stay allowed is only 30 days. Turkey E-visa is valid only for tourism and trade purpose.
Mostly all of the countries can apply for the Turkey E-visa online. However, there are limitations for some countries such as, an applicant should hold a valid Schengen visa or a valid visa (except for electronic -visas) from any of the OECD member countries; or should have a valid residence permit of a Schengen or OECD country.
Travel Documents Required:
• The traveler should have confirmed Return Ticket
• A confirmed Hotel reservation
• An adequate Financial means (approx USD 50 for each day)
