Anywhere you want to travel in the world, a passport and a visa are a must. Passport can be had at your own country and it is mostly a one-time affair with a validity of 10 to 25 years, but for visa, one has to apply every time one wishes to travel. It is also not a common one and is applicable for just one country! So obviously, if you are visiting several countries in a year, you have to also visit their respective embassies and queue up for the long durations taken to do the procedures. Even in most cases just a single visit won’t do and one may have to visit two to three times in order to get the visa.

Looking at the difficulty especially for business class people who have little time for these formalities, e-visa has made its way inroads. Today, most of the countries are offering e-visa facility online and have a set of entrusted private partners who can get the process done faster.

One also needs to have the tickets to leave from Turkey as a proof of the date of leaving the country. Also, a Master Card or a Visa Debit Card is a must in order to ensure the required payments would be valid presently and also in future. The form has to be filled up in every detail and the traveller also must be able to produce his or her hotel bookings and other supporting documents as required. For business travels, the place of visit or the email invitations may be necessary. These visas are also applicable for travel and tourism.

There is the facility of round trip ticket for selected nationals too if one wishes to visit, Istanbul Ataturk airport via Turkish Airlines or Pegasus Airlines. One coming via waterways may request the respective cruise agency or company to arrange for the whole lot of documents required for the visa application for Turkey.

Applying through www.evisa-turkety-tr.org can make your life much easier. They will not just guide you through the whole process, they will get you in touch with the most efficient travel and tourism agencies too who can get your bookings for tickets and stay done at the cheapest rates as well as at the earliest. Better to apply online than to stand in a long queue at the Kiosks

A good news for  travelers to Turkey. Now you can save your time by applying for your Turkey E visa online…

By bringing the idea of E Visa in the forefront, the government of Turkey has taken a step forward in improvising the tourism in the country. Today, we can easily avail our visa to Turkey by applying for it online, or by availing it on-arrival at the Turkey airport, but travelers would not be able to enjoy the facility of visa on arrival for a long time. The practice of obtaining visas upon arrival at the point of entry will come to an end by the end of 2014. For this, an alternative option of interactive kiosks will be made available for tourists from where they would be able to apply for their visa using online services. Citizens of 94 countries who wish to visit Turkey for commercial or travel purposes can take advantage of this system.
Turkey visa online
Turkey Evisa
As per the tourists the worst part about applying their visas on arrival is that they have to wait for hours standing in queues to get their visa, while having right currency to pay for it is the other major problem faced.  This blog majorly focuses on the pro’s and con's  of applying for the visa online and at the kiosks.

- Making visa application prior to the travel date helps you save time, and just needs a few minutes to fulfill the formalities. It only takes few minutes for your visa to get approved.
- Visitors can avail their visa for Turkey on arrival at kiosks, but they might face some technical as well as physical barriers in doing so, such as-
Technical issues with machines.
Internet problems.
Declination of credit cards.
Standing in long queues for your turn.
- Applying for a turkey E visa  requires a passport with a minimum validity of 6 months, but sometimes people overlook the expiration date on their passport, which may cause  traveler’s deportation from the Turkish territory.
- Some unforeseen issues may cause delay in your visa approval, if applied on arrival at kiosks, which may further induce problems for you at the airport.
- You spend hundreds of pounds in planning out your holidays in Turkey, but what if your visa on arrival when applied at Kiosks gets rejected and you are not allowed to even enter the Turkish territory beyond airport itself. There are chances that you won't get refunds on your hotel and other bookings causing your hard earned money wastage.

Thus, it is always advisable to apply for Turkey E visa few days prior to the travel date, so that you don’t face any such problems at the airport.

Though travelers must always remember that just getting a visa doesn’t make you liable to enter Turkey, as the entry and exit is subjected to permission by an immigration official present at the time of the actual entry in the territory of the country. Turkey visas are divided into different categories depending on the type of visit of the immigrant, such as- Tourist Visa, E-Visa, Work Visa, Education Visa and Visa to Live.

An update on Turkish Visas

As per the new guidelines issued by the Turkish government, visitors arriving in Turkey on or after 11 April will have to get an e-visa online before travel. Meanwhile, in the transition period, visas on arrival will be available, but it takes lots of time and strength to stand in long queues at airports. Tourists entering the Turkish Territory via airports and land borders from Istanbul, Antalya, Bodrum and Dalaman Airports must  purchase a valid e-visa in advance.

What is an e-Visa?

E-Visa is not a stamp or a seal that needs to be there in your passport, but is electronically attached to your passport that allows the bearer to enter Turkey legally.

Applying for this visa is easy and less time consuming process as all you need to do is go online, fill-in a simple application form, make payment and your visa will be delivered to you in two working days. You need a passport which must be valid for at least six months at the time of your entrance in Turkey. This visa is valid for a total of 180 days and enables you to stay in the territory for 90 days per visit.

Guidelines for E Visa Turkey

E Visa Turkey is an electronic authorization which can be obtained online any time before the travel, as it gets issued at the same time of submitting application. The applicant does not have to contact the embassy for the visa arrangements. The online E Visa is a substitute to the stamp or stickers which were issued at the Turkey border crossing. The entry of the traveller with the online visa is subject to denial by the Turkish authorities due to certain reasons.

Changes

As the E Visa is issued electronically, changes or amendments on the same are not permitted. The traveler needs to travel with the same passport details which were entered in the application online, otherwise the E Visa would be invalid for tarvel and he/she would have to apply again for the same.
E Visa Turkey

The E Visa validity commences from the date specified in the application, the holder can enter the country on any date within this period.
If the traveler wishes to stay longer than the stay permitted on E Visa, he/she needs to contact the Local Police Department to apply for a residence permit.

The payment can be made only through Visa or Master debit or credit card for the E Visa Turkey.
